The UHMS announces the completion of the first on-line education series on the topic of WOUND CARE. These inter-active programs will discuss three aspects of wound management: "Wound Care: Creating the Proper Environment; HBO and Wound Healing; and, Optimizing Pain in Chronic Wounds." Dr. Harriet Hopf, Professor of Anesthesiology at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, UT, and, Dr. J. Ben Slade, Northbay Center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine, Vaca Valley Hospital, Vacaville, CA are faculty for these inter-active programs. These activities are primarily designed for physicians, specialists and other clinicians, however other personnel whose medical practice includes wound management will also benefit educationally.
Fees for these activities:
"Wound Care: Creating the Proper Environment" - $45/person.
"HBO and Wound Healing" - $35/person.
"Optimizing Pain in Chronic Wounds" - $25/person
