1. Recognize and discuss the biotechnological issues related to the treatment of patients under hyperbaric conditions;
2. Educate and train other operators to the proper management of patients undergoing Hyperbaric therapy, as per their both tecnical and daily life needs, so to promote a well-modulated hyperbaric environment knowledge, prudent and tailored on the many different aspects and implications that are included in the binomial 'Technology and Health';
3. Gain a deep expertise allowing the learner to proactively and efficiently interact in legislative, safety and quality issues arising from the tight relationship existing between a patient undergoing a Hyperbaric Oxygen Tx and the hyperbaric operator on duty. The Course will consist in 70 hrs of front teaching activities and 305 hrs in seminars, internships and practical exercises, mostly of them already planned at ATiP HeadQuarters, where are located the two multiplace hyperbaric chambers of the Paduan Association of Hyperbaric Technicians. The Course is designed to strictly adhere to the ECHM (European Committee for Hyperbaric Medicine) indications and guide-lines as per standards in hyperbaric training to be applied.
Selected Teachers from the most important and accredited associations in the field, with both experts from the Italian Society of Underwater and Hyperbaric Medicine (SIMSI), and the National Association of Private Hyperbaric Centers(ANCIP), and the DAN Europe Foundation, and the European Underwater and Baromedical Society (EUBS), and the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS), and, last but not the least, from a well known Italian Company for those other specific aspect related to the underground/underwater drilling and the equipment technology involved in mining activity (Saipem, ENI group).
