Oxygen Supply Level

I run several multi-place chambers.  I am having a hard time getting the hospitals to increase their oxygen supply past 55 psi.  What are the supplies of other multiplace chambers.

We have a multiplace chamber and our Oxygen is 80 psi.

Hyperbaric oxygen supply

I appreciate your response.  Do you have your own oxygen farm or are you sharing the hospital supply?

Are you aware of any requirements for oxygen supply?  I am having a hard time finding anything on this subject, even in the NFPA guidelines.

Thanks Vince

We have 2 monoplace chambers and our O2 supply is 65psi and is separate from the hospital supply.    NFPA 99, 2012 edition, section which addresses O2 supply may be helpful.

You may also want to contact whoever installed the oxygen piping system. A lot of times they will have a guideline on how much pressure you should be running according to their specs.

MMP= (Depth x .445) + OBP

MMP- Minimum Manifold Pressure
Depth- treatment depth in FSW (or use psig at treatment depth)
OPB – Over bottom pressure (manufacturers recommended psig for breathing regulator at 1ATA)

O2 supply
Our O2 supply is at around 72 PSI.  We have two Perry Sigma 40 monoplace chambers and a multiplace with capacity for 12.  Contact your building engineering dept and they should be able to increase it.
