Denial of a classic confirmed Mandibular ORN case
Have any of you all experienced an insurance company denying a classic confirmed Mandibular ORN case “because the patient smokes”?
Today I had a VA patient denied “until he quits smoking”, what have others experienced? What have you all done?

Any bad experiences with Marinol and HBO?
Have others had any bad experiences with Marinol and HBO? I had a patient started on Marinol, 1st dose the morning before a dive. During the second O2 period the patient became quite anxious so we aborted the dive. Upon surfacing, he remained odd walking into the walls, oriented x2. Even 12 hours later the pt remained the same in spite of normal CT, MNRI, LP etc.
