The Wound and Hyperbaric Services Medical Director is responsible for performance and quality of all areas of wound and hyperbaric care throughout Intermountain Healthcare. The Medical Director works collaboratively with all disciplines including specialty care, community
care services, shared clinical services, and the clinically integrated network. This position leads, oversees, and supports developing a culture of high reliability and the measurement of care. The Director identifies opportunities, builds relationships, and executes on strategies to drive performance. This position champions provider growth and development, innovation, continuous improvement, and is accountable for the successes of the Wound and Hyperbaric Shared Service. This leader promotes excellence in the fundamentals of extraordinary care (safety, quality, patient experience, access, stewardship, engaged caregivers, and smart growth).
The Medical Director is a system-wide role reporting to the ACMO of Community Care. While primary relationships include wound and hyperbaric providers, this position is expected to collaborate, communicate, and build relationships with all members of the Community Care, Specialty Care, and Wound and Hyperbaric Shared Services healthcare team.
