Brenda Freymiller is a Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurse from Salt Lake City, UT. She has been a WOC Nurse for 20 years.

After growing up in Michigan, Dr. Kelly went to medical school at Ross University, on the island of Dominican the West Indies.  He did his residency in emergency medicine at Charity Hospital, Louisiana State University in New Orleans.  Dr. Kelly did a fellowship in Undersea and Hyperbaric medicine/Wound Care at Charity Hospital, LSU finishing in 2004.  After his fellowship training, he spent several years in the San Francisco/Bay area working at several hospitals working in emergency medicine, and hyperbaric medicine/wound care.  He missed academic medicine, and was recruited to come to the University of Alabama at Birmingham to initiate a hyperbaric and wound care program in 2008.  The hyperbaric and wound care program at the University of Alabama was initiated 2012.  In 2014 he was recruited to the University of Pennsylvania, and he spent 5 years acting as Chief of Undersea and Hyperbaric medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. In 2020 he decided to return back to UAB.  Since that time, he has been acting as Co-medical director of the Hyperbaric and Wound Care program.  He also work in the Emergency Department at UAB and has been active in developing the Snakebite Program at UAB.

Mr. Crouch is a Certified Professional Coder(CPC)and Medical Auditor(CPMA)with more than25years’ experience in the Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine industry.He served asVP of ReimbursementandCorporate Hyperbaric Safety Officerfor two different wound management companies providing reimbursement andoperationalsupport to more than200 outpatient wound care departments.Additionally, Mr. Crouch was aProgram Directorfor two different woundcareprograms.He has extensive experience inconductingrevenue cyclecompliance audits,includingtraining andeducationforproviders and clinical personnel.

He is a former member of the American Association for Wound Care Management (AAWCM) subcommittee and former surveyor for the UHMS Hyperbaric Facility Accreditation Program.He served as Chair of the UHMS Associates (2003-2005) and was a former member of the UHMS Practice Compliance Committee.Mr. Crouch has authored a number of hyperbaric articles and textbook chapters.He currentlymanagesa consulting firm that he establishedin 2017whichspecializes inproviding support forrevenue cycleoperationsand regulatory compliancefor outpatient woundmanagementprograms.

Dr. Gorenstein is a board-certified Emergency Physician with additional board certification in Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine.  I have over 20 years of experience and have authored over 20 peer reviewed articles.  I have been involved in translational research and currently participate in several industry sponsored clinical trials.

Susan Churchill, APRN-NP recently retired after 26 years experience as an APRN in Hyperbaric Medicine at Intermountain Healthcare working with Dr. Lindell Weaver in the Hyperbaric Medicine Deparatments at LDS Hospital and Intermountain Medical Center in SLC, Utah.  She had extensive clinical experience prior to her tenure in Hyperbarics (oncology, critical care and liver transplant), followed by certification as a nurse practitioner in 1996.  Shhe was the first non midwife adult nurse practitioner seeking a role in the hospital setting at Intermountain Healthcare.  While working with the hyperbaric department, she gain extensive experience with monoplace chambers, including critical care in the monoplace; care of patients in the multiplace chamber; and conducting research (including being the principle investigator of brain injury trial and as a research coordinator/co-investigator in the DOD sponsored BIMA study).

Dr. Timothy Michaelis is a board-certified general and surgical dermatologist practicing in the Intermountain Healthcare Park City Specialty Clinic in Park City, Utah.

Experienced Medical Director and Physician with a demonstrated history of success at all levels of the healthcare system. Skilled in Clinical Medicine (Infectious Diseases/Internal Medicine), Program Development, Healthcare Leadership, Population and Global Health, and Medical Education. Strong healthcare professional with a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Epidemiology/International Health from Johns Hopkins School of Public Health. Retired Army Medical Officer with extensive operational and leadership experience, providing infectious diseases/public health expertise in support of military and civilian healthcare programs on five continents.
